Are children allowed?

Children aged 8-15 years (inclusive) are allowed on board but children aged 0-7 (inclusive) are unfortunately not allowed due to safety reasons. We do have a child rate available but do not have a specific children's menu, however, given it is a buffet-style meal, they will be able to pick and choose what they like.

What time will we get back?

SABRE arrives back at Port Denarau at 4.45pm daily. This time can fluctuate slightly depending on weather conditions. Coaches will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Unless the weather is a danger to staff and guests (in which case we will not operate and transfer services) we will continue to operate.

What is the maximum capacity that can travel on each trip?

SABRE can take up to 70 passengers per day trip. this limit can be increased for those chartering SABRE so please do enquire if you have a specific group or charter wishing to travel.

Is SABRE suitable for those with limited mobility?

SABRE is not wheelchair accessible, and the off-boat activities require guests to transfer from the yacht to a smaller tender vessel and disembark directly on the beach. This process can be challenging for those with mobility impairments, making boarding and navigating safely difficult. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage guests with specific accessibility needs to contact us for further information or alternative options.

Does SABRE have a planned route each day?

We have a number of different routes available to us depending on the wind direction and weather conditions so each day's route will differ accordinly.

Are there lifejackets available?

We have life jackets on board for all and guests may wear them at their own discretion. For those that want to, we also have life jackets and other flotation devices for people to swim/snorkel in.

Is it safe?

SABRE complies with all marine safety requirements. The side of the boat has sturdy rails and those that are nervous can stay in the central part of the vessel while traveling. Being a catamaran, SABRE is a flat, smooth ride that means you get to feel the joy of sailing without the boat tipping or moving around.
